he Company’s rice business dates back to the 1960’s, when Mr. Muhammad Elahi Monga joined his father’s rice milling and parboiling business situated at Mandi Faizabad, distt. Sheikhupura. The business relied upon age old traditional techniques back in the days. Soon, his elder son Mian Inam Elahi Monga joined him to form Good Luck Rice Corporation. The business grew exponentially under his visionary leadership. With time, the paddy and rice market in that particular area became saturated due to large number of new entrants pouring in each year. So, the family migrated to Gujranwala region in search of potential paddy market as the area was largely unexplored for modern rice business practices…..
